Upper Bunk - weird name - cool place. You'll create touching and wonderful memories in this beautiful, cabin-style cottage located on the property of New Park Event Venue & Suites. Sun shines through the stained glass windows that were rescued from a NYC church. Stone mosaics outline the area that the Smart TV sits in, and incredible woodwork surrounds the room, including the door.
This suite has no steps and is ADA accessible. The suite has two luxurious queen sized beds, a dresser, K-cup coffee pot, mini fridge, and microwave. Upper Bunk has a front porch and direct access out the back door to a lovely garden pathway. Upper Bunk sleeps 2 to 4 people with two queen-sized beds. The luxury bathroom features a beautiful ADA accessible walk-in shower.
Note: Upper Bunk is next to Lower Bunk - while the rooms do not adjoin, the back porch is shared. Note that noise is possible between the two suites.
The cottage comes with a kitchenette that includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker (we provide pods, cream, sweeteners).
Dogs are allowed in this unit under two conditions - either you are renting both Upper and Lower Bunk, or you take your dog with you at all times (never left in the room alone). We do have a completely dog friendly space in our Finger Lakes Cottage on the same property though!
Come and enjoy yourself in this beautiful cottage, bring your kids, friends, dogs, or enjoy the whole cabin by yourself. There are also stunning glass stained windows that light up the room during the day. Enjoy walks from your room on the peaceful walkway to the Wish room or adventure different paths leading to a lovely stream.
About New Park:
New Park is a one-of-a-kind 18 acre property just north of Ithaca in the Finger Lakes Region. It is 10 minutes from the city of Ithaca and 5 minutes from Taughannock Falls and Trumansburg. It was originally a roadside motel, but in the 90s, every room was transformed into a work of art. Stained glass, handcrafted stonework, and incredible woodwork laces every single room.

There is one room called the "Wish Room" which has a wood burning fireplace in the middle of the room, as well as a piano, guitars, record player, gas grill, cable TV and wifi.

Romantic gardens, rolling lawns, and a forest for hiking (as long as it isn't hunting season).

There are two communal fire pits - one in the center of the property and another off to the side. The entire property is surrounded by a very tall privacy fence that once protected the privacy of a celebrity (ask the staff or the locals and they'll tell you more!). New Park also has an event space and a picnic area by a creek that is so beautiful that people get married there almost every weekend of summer.

New Park also has a total of 7 suites and can sleep up to 22 people across them, so bring some family and friends with you! Each cottage is listed separately, and we also have a listing for our "Triple Suite".
Note: This property has a venue on site and does occasionally host events. All suites have designated parking and the events must be finished before quiet hours which are 11pm-9am. The gardens, trails, firepits and lounge are all open to share with other guests on site.
